Two men from opposite corners of India, and a dream that started in Dubai.
Every big dream starts somewhere. Ours began in two very different corners of India. In the historic land of Nalanda, Bihar, a young dreamer grew up wanting to see more, learn more, and someday build something he could proudly call his own. More than two thousand kilometres away in Kerala, another young man was shaping dreams of his own, driven by a passion for food, restaurants, brands and marketing.
They didn't know each other. They came from different places, different cultures and different walks of life. But some journeys are meant to cross. In 2015, thousands of kilometres away from both their homes, those two journeys met in Dubai. Their names were Aaquib and Attul. Friendship came first, followed by countless conversations about food, business, ideas and the possibility of creating something of their own one day.
Years passed, and ideas came and went. But there was one dream they kept coming back to: to build something of their own, together.
Dubai gave them more than a friendship. It gave them an idea.
Between long workdays, late-night conversations and ordinary evenings with friends, food was often part of the moment. And one thing kept showing up on the table: broasted chicken.
There was something about its simplicity they loved. Crispy chicken, a bucket in the middle of the table, good company around it. No special occasion needed. Just good food bringing people together.
Those simple meals became part of their Dubai years. And somewhere between the food, the friendship and countless conversations about the future, a question began to come up:
“What if one day we built something of our own?”
Back then, there was no restaurant. No logo. No menu. Not even a name.
Just two friends, thousands of kilometres from home, and an idea that refused to disappear.
Some dreams fade with time. This one followed them home.
Years passed. Life changed. Dubai became a chapter of their journey, but the idea they had once talked about over countless meals and conversations never really left them.
When the time finally came to turn that idea into something real, there were many places they could have started.
But they chose Bihar.
Not because it was the easiest place to begin, but because it meant something.
They wanted to take everything they had seen, learned and dreamed about over the years and build something meaningful from the place where one of their journeys had first begun.
Something born in a small city, but never limited by it.
A brand that could start in Bihar Sharif, grow beyond Bihar, and one day find its place across India.
What started as a conversation between two friends in Dubai was finally coming home.
And that dream now had a name: Big Broast Chicken.
A dream may start with an idea, but bringing it to life takes the right people.
As Big Broast Chicken began taking shape, Shaquib and Tausif became an important part of the journey, each bringing a very different strength to the table.
With more than five years of experience in the F&B industry, Shaquib brought practical knowledge of how a restaurant really works, from the kitchen and food preparation to quality, consistency and the everyday discipline behind every order.
Tausif, a Computer Engineer, brought a different way of thinking: structured, analytical and focused on systems and operations. His role became about helping everything behind the scenes work smoothly as the brand prepared to grow.
Aaquib continued shaping the brand, identity, vision and creative direction, while Attul brought his strength in marketing and accounts, helping turn the vision into a sustainable business.
Four people. Four different backgrounds. Four different strengths.
But one shared belief:
Build something in Bihar that Bihar can be proud of, and build it well enough to go far beyond it.
Together, they are building Big Broast Chicken.
Four people, four roles, one bucket of chicken worth building a brand around.
Big Broast Chicken began with something Aaquib and Attul loved during their time in Dubai, and from there we went our own way. What we found there was the inspiration. Everything since has been ours to build. Our own recipes, our own flavours, our own experience, our own identity.
What we wanted to bring back was the feeling we remembered from Dubai. Freshly prepared chicken, a satisfying crunch, bold flavours, and a bucket in the middle of the table that everyone wants to reach for.
There is nothing complicated about any of it. Just really good chicken, made to be enjoyed together.
